Jarrett Jack’s Buzzer-Beater Attempt Was Just a Little Off (Video)
Hitting a full-court buzzer-beater is no easy task. I’m fully aware of that, as are most of you. However, I’m also quite certain that it’s not as hard as Golden State Warriors guard Jarrett Jack made it look as time expired during the first quarter of last night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
After Russell Westbrook’s layup gave the Thunder a 31-27 lead with 0.9 seconds remaining in the opening quarter, Jack took the inbound pass and quickly heaved the ball the length of the court, several feet over the Thunder basket and about five rows up into the stands at Oracle Arena.

Jack may have been way off in this instance, but he was on target throughout most of the night, as he connected on his only other two three-point attempts and finished the evening with 19 points while shooting 50% from the field. Unfortunately for Jack and the Warriors, that wasn’t enough, as they fell to the Thunder by a score of 116-97.
