How Cute!: Young A’s Fan Throws Back His Souvenir Baseball (Video)
Handing a foul ball to a young fan seated nearby seems to be the cool thing to do these days at Major League ballparks. But are these toddlers really all that interested in taking home some dirty baseball that they know absolutely nothing about?
To be honest, they probably aren’t any more interested in keeping that ball than the person who actually caught it. But that hasn’t stopped these foul-ball-catching fans from continuing to take part in this friendly act of sharing. And as long as that is the case, we can expect to see these young fans throwing their newly acquired souvenirs back onto the field, as if that’s what they’re supposed to do with it.
This young A’s fan is the latest to join the long list of children who have tossed their souvenirs back onto the field, as he did so during Sunday’s game against the Tigers, much to the chagrin of his parents and older brother.
Check it out:
After hearing it from his father and brother, the youngster was eventually given another souvenir baseball by the Athletics’ staff. And his brother was given a ball as well.
So he threw one ball back, and ended up getting two in return? Perhaps the little guy was on to something all along. I think big brother owes him an apology.
