This Fan of Chris “Birdman” Andersen Was Pretty Excited Last Night (Video)
When the Miami Heat picked up Chris “Birdman” Andersen midway through the 2012-13 NBA season, it reminded me a lot of the Bulls picking up Dennis Rodman in 1995. Here you had a team that already had championship-winning superstars, adding a flamboyant defensive specialist.
Well, that signing is looking pretty good these days. The Heat went on a remarkable winning streak during the regular season and are ready to repeat as champions, and last night the Birdman had an epic highlight reel block during Game 2 of Miami’s opening round series against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Of course, everyone inside the packed American Airlines Arena went crazy when the heavily tattooed Andersen stuffed Milwaukee’s Marquis Daniels—the fans, the guys on the Miami bench, and even the Birdman himself, who performed a little dance afterward. However, nobody enjoyed Chris Andersen’s block more than the ginormous dude dressed up as Chris Andersen.
Take a look, and note the man’s interesting wardrobe:
Yep, that’s right—that guy is wearing a bed sheet. So he is either too cheap to shell out $100 for a genuine Chris Andersen replica jersey, or he’s too big to find one that fits him. Either way…wow.
