The Pacers Were Making Posters During their Game 2 Victory Over the Atlanta Hawks Last Night (Videos)
The 2013 NBA Playoffs are not even a week old, but the Indiana Pacers have definitely established themselves as the most impressive team so far. Sure, the Thunder and Heat won by 29 and 23 points, respectively, in their opening games, but both of those teams eased up for Game Two and allowed their opponents to have at least a little hope. Moreover, both are number ones playing number eights, and the Heat are actually playing a team with a sub-.500 record.
The Pacers, on the other hand, are a number three playing a number six that had only five fewer wins in the regular season. One would have expected a pretty competitive series. However, the Pacers have dominated each of the first two games from start to finish. They won the first game by 17 points on Sunday, and they won the second game by 15 points last night.
And the manner in which they won that game last night? It was impressive. The Pacers were making posters and throwing touchdown passes.
Here’s a huge monster jam from center Roy Hibbert in the 1st quarter:
Here is another monster jam from non-starting small forward, Gerald Green:
And here is a long touchdown pass that caught the Hawks snoozing at the end of the 3rd quarter:
Did the Pacers sign Andrew Luck before the game?
Anyway, the series now shifts to Atlanta. Indiana was a poor road team this year, so maybe the Hawks can get themselves back into the series. But the Pacers are definitely off to a great start.
