Lakers Lost the Series and This Fan Fight to the Spurs (Video)
The poor Kobe-less Lakers were completely outclassed by the San Antonio Spurs during Round 1 of the 2013 NBA Playoffs. Tony Parker and company swept L.A. right out of the playoffs in four straight games, outscoring them by a whopping 75 points. Now coach Mike D’Antoni will have the whole offseason to ponder what life will be like next year without the Black Mamba, who surely will miss at least the first half of the season thanks to his ACL tear.
As for Lakers fans, they obviously must have been pretty embarrassed by their team’s dismal performance. One of them even picked a fight with a Spurs fan after Game 2, presumably trying to reclaim some of his team’s honor. Unfortunately, that went down just like the series: a total San Antonio beat-down.
See for yourself:
The Lakers fan threw the first punch, but about 15 seconds into the fight that guy must have been thinking, “wow, this is not going well.”
My favorite part was when the Spurs fan pulled the other dude’s shirt over his head, hockey style, and started elbowing him in the back. When’s the last time you went to a basketball game, and a hockey fight broke out?
