The Chicago Blackhawks were the most dominant regular season team the NHL has seen in a long time. They started the lockout-shortened campaign by going 24 straight games without a loss in regulation. Then they went on to lose only six more games, compiling a record of 36-7-5 for an NHL-best 77 points and an unmatched +53 goal differential. If this were a full 82-game season, Chicago would have been on pace for a record of 61-12-9, which would have been the third best record the NHL has ever seen.

So what was the secret to the Blackhawks’ success this year? Well, it was pretty simple, really: tremendous amounts of sex. Or at least, that’s according to Comcast Sports Net reporter Susannah Collins.

During the pre-game show before last night’s playoff opener between the Blackhawks and Wild at the United Center in Chicago, Collins was talking about the amazing season the home team had, and this happened:

Nothing like a goof Freudian slip to spice up a hockey broadcast.

Still, nice recovery, Susannah. You’re a real pro.
