David Beckham Played In His Final Soccer Match On Saturday (Video)
David Beckham‘s storied soccer career came to an end on Saturday, when he was substituted for Ezequiel Lavezzi in the 82nd minute of PSG’s 3-1 victory over Brest.
During his professional career, Beckham made 523 appearances with Manchester United, Preston North End, Real Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain, from 1993 to 2013. He would score a total of 97 goals in those games, and he added another 17 goals in 115 appearances with England’s men’s national team.
Beckham never achieved much on the international stage, but he did earn six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, two MLS Cups, one La Liga title, one Ligue 1 title and one UEFA Champions League title during his highly-decorated club football career.
The 38-year-old native of London, England, will go down as one of the most popular players to ever play the game, so it only makes sense that his final appearance on the pitch would be celebrated by his PSG teammates and fans.
And celebrate they did! Check it out:
