So, what’s the verdict? Can you do it? Because this “fitness model” named Emily can.
Fitness models, of course, are basically a step down from full-on bodybuilders. They are extremely fit and pretty muscular, but not grotesquely so. That’s important to know going in—this video will not gross you out. Or at least, it won’t gross you out because the woman is some scary muscle-bound meathead. (It may still gross you out if watching people squash stuff with their butt doesn’t do it for you.)

Anyway, as you can see, this video offers pretty compelling proof that straight leg kickbacks are inferior to deadlifting when strengthening the glutes.
