Stat Line of the Night — 6/2/2013 — Domonic Brown

The Philadelphia Phillies were looking to snap their three-game losing streak with a victory over the Milwaukee Brewers during the finale of their three-game set on Sunday.  And they would do just that thanks to the hot bat of Domonic Brown.

The 25-year-old left fielder has been carrying the Phillies’ offense for nearly a month now, and that trend continued, as he went 3-for-3 with a triple, a homer, a walk and four RBIs during the Phils’ 7-5 victory over the Brewers.

It was yet another impressive performance from Brown, who now has an NL-leading 16 homers on the season, and eight in his last nine games.  And his latest offensive outburst earns him “The Stat Line of the Night” for Sunday, June 2, 2013.
