The Stanley Cup Finals are getting better ratings in 2013 than they have in years. Sure, you could point to the fact that the teams are from major American cities, or that the quality of play has been stellar, or that the NHL’s TV deal with Comcast/NBC is actually paying off. But maybe something else is going on, too. Maybe all the celebs hanging out at rinks during the playoffs have made hockey seem cool again.
Now, I’m not saying these famous hockey fans are solely responsible for improved ratings. That would be crazy. I’m just saying that, looking at the bigger picture, their presence probably helps build the brand.
So who among the who’s who has been spotting taking in some Stanley Cup Playoff action this year? Well, click on the arrows to find out.
I'm pretty sure Cuba and his fam live out in California. But the dude is from the Bronx originally, so that gives his recent enthusiasm for the Rangers during their first round series against the Caps some credibility.

Did you know that Michael Keaton was born and raised in the Pittsburgh area? Well, he was, and as a result the guy is a big Penguins fan—which is why he spotted at game five of Pittsburgh's second round series against the Ottawa Senators.

There's South Park creator and Tony Award-winner Trey Parker with his longtime (and currently pregnant) girlfriend Boogie Tillmon.
Yes, that's right. Boogie Tillmon.

One guy is famous for shouting "COME ON!" while the other is famous for shouting "YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!" These Rangers fans are a match made in heaven.
(If you have no idea what I'm talking about, then obviously you need to watch more Arrested Development and more 1980s tennis on ESPN Classic.)
22. Will Arnett & John McEnroe
The guy is Steven R. McQueen from The Vampire Diaries. More importantly, the girl is his girlfriend, Hillary Harley, who apparently played a nurse on that show one time. Point is, I don't think she's really famous for anything other than being that dude's hot girlfriend—but of course that's good enough for me.

Here's Gavin Degraw and Adam Duritz at the Rangers-Bruins game. One has to wonder if Duritz actually set out to look like a Jewish Bob Marley, or whether that's something that just kind of happened.

As everyone knows, Alyssa Milano loves her L.A. sports teams. No surprise to see her at Game 6 of the Kings' first round series against the Blues.

Jay Baruchel, one of the stars of This Is the End, took in Game 4 of Western Conference Finals between the Kings and Blackhawks.

Here's Jason Bateman at the Rangers game against Capitals, doing his best Steve Holt impression.

Cory Monteith of Glee was born in Calgary, but he moved to Victoria, British Columbia, just outside Vancouver, at the age of seven. So I guess that explains the jersey.
As for his Glee gf Lea Michele, I think she's just being supportive, because she's from the Bronx.

Tito Ortiz is most famous for being that UFC guy who married Jenna Jameson. But from the looks of this pic from the Western Conference Finals, he's now moved on.

Okay, I have no idea if Michael J. Fox's son, Sam, really has the "J" for a middle initial. But he should. In any case, dad and son were spotted at the Rangers series against the Capitals in round one.
14. MIchael J. Fox & Samuel J. Fox
Sting was at one of the Rangers' games against the Bruins in round two, but judging by the unimpressed look on his face he would rather have been doing yoga or having tantric sex.
Not that long ago, Mike Comrie was on the other side of the glass. But now that he's retired from the NHL, he needs his wife Hilary's star power to get good seats. The two were spotted along with Hilary's sister, Haylie—yep, that's how she spells her name—at Game 4 of the Kings' series against the Hawks.
12. The Duff Sisters & Mike Comrie
Kevin Bacon was at one of the Rangers' first round games against the Capitals. Apparently the guy likes his personal space, too, because there doesn't seem to be another person within arms' reach of him.

If I could choose one character from Star Wars to attend my team's game, obviously I'd pick Luke Skywalker—no, Yoda. He could use his mastery of the force to make things go our way. What can Han Solo do for you? Make the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs?
Anyway, yeah, Harrison Ford was at one of the Sharks' games against the Kings.
10. Han Solo
Say what you want about David Beckham, the guy is always out supporting the other sports teams in LA. He's been a regular fixture at Kings and Lakers games the last couple of years, and this year he and the fam were spotted at the Kings' second round series against the Sharks.
9. The Posh-Beckhams
This is actually the least idiotic I've seen Justin Bieber look in recent months. I guess the ice at the arena makes it a little too chilly for the leather t-shirt.
8. The Biebs
Here's the one and only Liam Neeson getting some QT in with his son at the Rangers' second round game against the Bruins.
7. Liam Neeson & Son
Tom Hanks lives in LA, so he's a Kings fan. However, his mustache is a Rangers fan, and it calls the shots.
6. Tom Hanks & Brian Williams
Wait, hold the phone. Mets star rookie Matt Harvey is dating SI Swimsuit model Ann Vyalitsyna?
Man, it's good to be a stud pitcher.
5. Matt Harvey & Ann Vyalitsyna
Tom Cruise was at Game 5 of the Kings' series against the Sharks with his new girlfriend.
Okay, that's not really his new girlfriend. But would it really surprise you if Tom Cruise was a furry?
4. Tom Cruise
Erin Andrews is dating Jarret Stoll. Here she is being a supportive girlfriend at Game 6 for the Kings' series against St. Louis.
3. Erin Andrews
Lil' Wayne was at Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals between the Kings and Blackhawks in LA, showing off his platinum grill to all players on the market for new front teeth this summer.
2. Lil Wayne
Paulina Gretzky really isn't famous for anything other than being the hot daughter of a living sports legend—but I'm not going to complain.
