Nuggets’ Jordan Hamilton Loses Shorts During Vegas Summer League Game (Video)
Denver Nuggets small forward Jordan Hamilton had one hell of a first quarter in the Nuggets’ Vegas Summer League game against the Pelicans on Wednesday night. The 22-year-old scored 18 points from all over the floor and was really looking like a kid who was taken 26th overall in the 2011 draft.
Unfortunately, late in the first quarter, Hamilton ran into some bad, Three Stooges kind of luck that derailed his game a bit.
The guy lost his shorts. Then he scored just four more points the rest of the way.
See for yourself:
Now, my first thought here was, hey, at least he was wearing those Nike women’s leggings underneath. In the olden days guys just wore those skimpy little jockstraps underneath their short shorts, so things could have been much worse.
However, then I realized that it’s almost certainly those lycra/spandex leggings that caused Hamilton’s shorts to come off so easily in the first place. The guy’s entire lower half was basically coated in teflon, so the shorts had nothing to cling to.
The lesson, then? Stop wearing ladies pants underneath your basketball shorts, fellas.
