Ndamukong Suh Delivers Preseason Week 2’s Hardest Hit on Trent Richardson (Video)
Well, I guess Ndamukong Suh didn’t like how I joked that the biggest hit from the first weekend of preseason NFL action came courtesy of a Brazilian soccer referee, because the guy sure as hell laid out Trent Richardson last night.
A few minutes into last night’s exhibition between the Lions and Browns in Cleveland, Detroit’s fearsome defensive tackle signalled to the league that he would not be taking his foot off the throttle this year by delivering a tackle on the Cleveland running back that came very close to being helmet-to-helmet and a late hit.
Take a look:
Now, I’m not saying that was a dirty hit, because I don’t think it was. I’m just saying it was close. Obviously his stint on Splash this summer alongside Louie Anderson and Katherine Webb didn’t soften him up too much.
If I were Jay Cutler, I’d be a little worried. (Then I’d probably say or do something really douchey.)
