Keenan Thompson Stopped by Fox Sports 1 and Reenacted the Knucklepuck from ‘D2: The Mighty Ducks’ (Videos)

Remember D2: The Mighty Ducks? Sure you do. It was only the greatest hockey movie sequel of all-time. It had such a realistic plot, too.

If you recall, after his success chronicled in the first Mighty Ducks movie, Emilio Estevez gets asked to coach the USA hockey team for the Junior Goodwill Games. Obviously he fills that roster up with his own players, including Joshua Jackson. However, Emilio gets cocky and his team loses their “Mighty Ducks spirit”—until they play a ragtag group of street hockey players who show them the true meaning of Christmas. Or something like that. I don’t know.

Point is, they start playing well again, and when their star player gets hurt, they bring in one of those street hockey kids to take his spot. That kid, lest you’ve forgotten, was Keenan Thompson of Saturday Night Live fame, and he had a very special talent: the knucklepuck.

See for yourself:

So why do I bring all this up? Because recently Thompson stopped by to chat with the folks of Crowd Goes Wild over on Fox Sports 1, and when they brought up the knucklepuck, he was kind enough to reenact it.

Yep, Keenan still has it. That’s some good television right there.
