Toronto Mayor Rob Ford Attends Argos Game, Gets Beer Thrown At Him (Video)
Toronto mayor Rob Ford has had an awful lot to deal with as of late, like crack-smoking, drunk driving, and prostitution allegations, in addition to his usual duties of having to run North America’s fourth-largest city (according to population). But not even a full plate of controversies and other obligations could keep the world’s most popular crack-smoking mayor from attending Sunday’s CFL Eastern Conference Finals match-up between the Toronto Argonauts and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at the Rogers Centre—despite being asked to stay away by the CFL commissioner himself.
Unfortunately for the renowned football enthusiast, he didn’t get to watch much of the game, seeing as how he got there during the second half. And once he was there, Ford was busy shaking hands, posing for photos, hoisting a fake Grey Cup, and dodging beer cans that were thrown his way.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, the Argos were winning the game by a score of 24-17 at the half…Then Rob Ford showed up and the Argos would proceed to give up 19 unanswered points, en route to a 36-24 loss at the hands of the Tiger-Cats.
