Here’s an Animated Version of that John Wall Dunk that Won the 2014 Slam Dunk Contest (Video)

The 2014 NBA Slam Dunk Contest was pretty stupid. The new format pitting East against West limited the number of dunks by individual contestants, meaning the fans kind of got shortchanged.

That’s not to say, however, that the official “Dunk of the Night” by the Washington Wizards’ John Wall wasn’t absolutely spectacular. Because it was. The guy jumped over the head of the Wizards’ mascot, grabbed the ball between his legs, and stuffed it home with a reverse jam.

Of course, you’ve probably seen the actual footage of the dunk by now. So instead, why not take a look at this animated version. Apparently it was done by a Vine user named @PatrickTruby, but it was tweeted out by NBA on TNT.

Take a look:

So what do you think is more impressive—the dunk or the animation?
