118th Boston Marathon Finish Line Painted on Boylston Street (Video)
With just 27 days remaining until the start of the 118th Boston Marathon, crews got to work early Tuesday morning to paint the finish line on Boylston Street.
It’s a tradition that has become that much more meaningful this time around following the events that unfolded not far from the finish line at last year’s Boston Marathon.
While the finish line at least year’s marathon became a scene of terror and misery, this year’s finish line hopes to provide a symbol of strength and resilience, more so than it ever has during the race’s 118-year history.
