Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler, and Dustin Johnson Play No. 17 at Sawgrass with Opposite Hands (Video)
Whoever said the world of professional golf wasn’t very exciting…was probably correct. But that doesn’t mean that the stars of the game can’t try to spice it up in the most rebellious way allowed by the PGA: By playing a hole (for fun) with their non-dominant hands.
Phil Mickelson, Rickie Fowler, and Dustin Johnson took turns stepping to the other side of the tee box on the legendary 17th at TPC Sawgrass. In short order, they quickly proved that while the pros might have a prettier swing with their opposite hands, that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re more adept at getting to the hole.
Only one golfer found his way onto the green, while the others would have to go swimming to get their balls back.
Curious who sidled up for a birdie? Take a look at the video:
All this golf excitement has my heart racing. Will someone please tell them to switch back to their regular hands so I can breathe again?
The only thing more shocking than this would be learning that one of these golfers sends their children to a public school.
