9 Year-Old Skateboarding Girl Lands a 540. What’s Your Excuse? (Video)
In case you thought that a nine-year-old girl from Australia doing a skateboarding trick as advanced as a 540 was impossible, think again.
Sabre Norris from New South Wales has gained a bit of celebrity status in the past couple days by nailing a 540 on a vert ramp.
Here’s the video that will make you wonder what you did with your youth that was so great:
Sure, the difference between a 540 and the high-water mark 900 is practically light years, but I think we can all agree that Sabre is on a pretty good trajectory for her age…or for anyone’s age. I mean, how many degrees can you spin on a halfpipe? 180? Nah. I bet you’re closer to 0 than 180.
Anyway, let’s all congratulate Sabre on a) a kickass name, and b) landing a very impressive trick, regardless of gender, and regardless of age.
Oh, and young Sabre still doesn’t know how to ride a bike. Total badass.
