The Rangers Are in the Stanley Cup Finals Thanks to Epic Saves by Henrik Lundqvist (Videos)
There are a lot of things a good hockey team needs to reach the Stanley Cup Finals, from timely scoring to inspirational leaders to plain good luck. However, the most crucial ingredient is a world class goalie who gets hot at the right time. And the New York Rangers definitely have that in Henrik Lundqvist.
Last night the Blueshirts closed out the Montreal Canadiens in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, and while the Habs were only able to manage 18 shots, King Henrik stopped every single one of them to preserve the 1-0 victory.
Were any of those 18 saves noteworthy? Yeah, you could say that.

Lundqvist may not be the only reason the Rangers are in the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time since 1994, but he is a big one.
Congratulations to all you Rangers fans out there.
