Rob Gronkowski Was on ‘Whose Line Is It Anyway?’ Last Night (Video)
On Monday night, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski showed up in what might be the last place you’d ever expect: Whose Line Is It Anyway.
Now I’ll admit that, for me, the most shocking thing about this was the fact that Whose Line Is It Anyway is on the air again. I honestly had no idea. If I had to guess, I would have said that show ended in 2001. However, it turns out the original run of the American version, with Drew Carey as host, ran until 2007. Then, last summer, the CW picked it up again with Aisha Tyler as host.
But after I realized that Gronk hadn’t been sucked through a wormhole, and that they are producing new Whose Line Ii It Anyway episodes, I was still somewhat shocked. That’s because I really didn’t expect to see Rob stiff-arming Wayne Brady and bench pressing Jonathan Mangum.
Nor did I expect to see him making stupid breast jokes with Ryan Stiles:
That was awkward, no?
In any case, the lesson here is, you just never know where Gronk will pop up. You may see him in Vegas, partying with Johnny Football, or you could see him on the set of a (supposedly) family-friendly improvisational comedy show.
