Jameis Winston Throws a Hail Mary to Himself, Because ‘Ball Is Life’ (Video)
I have no idea what “Ball is life” means, and I doubt that Jameis Winston himself knows, but that didn’t stop the Danny Ocean of crustacean heists from saying that before throwing a Hail Mary to himself.
The Florida State Heisman winner is undoubtedly talented, and there are, of course, some doubters on the Internet who believe this is faked. I doubt it. Why? Because it’s really not that impressive-looking. And if it was faked, it would have looked cooler.
Jameis Winston throwing a pass to himself looks pretty much like every other dude throwing a pass to himself. Sure, he can throw it a lot farther downfield, but considering he has to catch it, he doesn’t throw the ball that far. And he runs fast, but not that fast or far.
Take a look at the video:
Don’t get me wrong. I’m sure this is a tremendous feat, and I would probably slip about seventeen discs trying to do this. But he covers about thirty yards on a sky-high toss.
Save the trick shot videos for the D-III guys, Jameis. You’re going pro.
Ball is life. Ball is life, indeed.
