No sport on earth has hotter female reporters than soccer. This is a scientific fact.
Don’t get me wrong, the other sports all have gorgeous women covering them. I love Erin Andrews and Holly Sonders as much as the next guy. But they just cannot compete with the seemingly endless pool of supermodel-journalists who cover the beautiful game. And to prove it, we present this list of the 20 hottest soccer reporters in the world.
If you can come up with a list of 20 basketball reporters half as impressive as this, I will eat my shoes. (Figuratively.)
Let's start things off right in our own backyard, shall we? Kelli Tennant isn't exclusively a soccer reporters. However, she does cover the Los Angeles Galaxy for Time Warner Cable Sportsnet, so that qualifies her in my book.
20. Kelli Tennant (USA)
Longtime UK sports reporter Dani Behr joined Fox Sports 1's Fox Soccer Daily a few months ago. She's 43 now, and it looks like she's had some work done, but she's still a soccer reporter "of good quality," as those British play-by-play guys would say.
These days Canada's own Julie Stewart-Binks is covering hockey for Fox Sports 1 south of the border, but for a while she was the host of Fox Soccer Daily. So that makes her a soccer reporter in my book.
17. Julie Stewart-Binks (USA)
Technically Anna Kraft isn't just a "soccer reporter." She is an anchor for Sky Sports Deutschland. However, that job includes covering soccer, and that is good enough for me.
16. Anna Kraft (Germany)
Hayley here is a presenter on Sky Sports UK, where she spends a great deal of time covering soccer. I've never seen her work personally, but I can tell just by looking at her that she's got fabulous credentials.
15. Hayley McQueen (UK)
Much like Dani Behr, Georgie Thompson was a popular sports reporter in the UK before crossing the pond to join Fox Sports 1 last summer. Initially she was on Crowd Goes Wild, a.k.a. the FS1 show with Regis Philbin. However, since that got cancelled, she's been doing miscellaneous jobs for the network—like covering the Champions League Final a few weeks back.
14. Georgie Thompson (USA, UK)
If you're ever in Germany, you can see Ms. Kaiser here reporting from the pitch for Sports Channel DSF.
13. Andrea Kaiser (Germany)
These days Kirsty Gallacher is usually behind the Sky Sports UK anchor desk. However, as you can see, she does get out onto the field on occasion.
12. Kirsty Gallacher (UK)
Basketball is pretty popular in Turkey, but it's not going to overtake soccer as long as Ebru Gursoy is covering it for Lig TV. She's a former actress and, judging from this YouTube montage, she's pretty popular.
11. Ebru Gursoy (Turkey)
Like a few other women on this list, Oliva Godfrey doesn't cover soccer exclusively. But she is a Sky Sports UK anchor, so she covers it enough to meet my requirements.
10. Olivia Godfrey (UK)
These days Charlotte Jackson is an all-sport presenter on Sky Sports UK. However, at one point she was hosting a soccer quiz show called Take It Like a Fan, so that makes her a soccer reporter in my book.
Also, yes, she is hot.
9. Charlotte Jackson (UK)
Ines Sainz became an internet celebrity a few years ago when she covered Super Bowl XLV for TV Azteca. Now, pretty much wherever she goes, she is the story, and that includes the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
8. Ines Sainz (Mexico)
If you're a soccer fan in Spain, not only do you get to watch the best league in the world, but you also get to watch Ana Cobos talk about it on CLM TV.
7. Ana Cobos (Spain)
Federica Fontana is one of three hosts for Stop & Gol on Italy's Cielo TV, i.e. Sky Sports Italy. In addition to being gorgeous, she also has the best name on this list.
6. Federica Fontana (Italy)
Meet Vanessa Huppenkothen of Televisa Deportes, one of the emerging stars of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
5. Vanessa Huppenkothen (Mexico)
Televisa Deportes' Marisol Gonzalez doesn't alway cover soccer, but when she does she is a total smoke show.
Actually, she's a total smoke show pretty much all the time.
4. Marisol Gonzalez
Marisol Gonzalez is hot, but Mariana Gonzalez is...well, if not hotter, at least moreof a true soccer reporter. She's in Brazil right now covering the World Cup for Televisa Deportes.
3. Mariana Gonzalez
When Laura Esposto isn't modeling, she's on the Milan Channel, i.e., the official TV station of AC Milan...which is now your new favorite Italian soccer team.
