USA World Cup Hype Video Kindly Suggests You Get Pumped for USA-Germany Today (Video)

usa vs germany one moment does not define us 2014 FIFA World Cup hype video

Today’s game between the USA and Germany at the 2014 FIFA World Cup is a big one. If the U.S. manages to pull out a draw, they’ll emerge from an extremely difficult group and move on to the knockout stage for the second consecutive World Cup, which is something they’ve never done. And if the U.S. manages to somehow beat Germany, arguably the best team in the world and easily one of the favorites to win the whole tournament, well, that will go down as one of the greatest achievements in the history of American soccer—right up there behind the win over England in 1950 and the win over Colombia in 1994.

So you shouldn’t just be looking forward to the game. You should be pumped. And, honestly, if you’re not, there’s something wrong with you and you should just get the hell out of America.

Nah, I’m totally kidding. Assuming you have the proper documentation, please feel free to remain in America.

Please do watch this video, though. It’s a sweet little USA soccer compilation video called “One Moment Does Not Define Us,” and is was put together by Ted Harrison, a New York-based video editor and a true patriot. If it doesn’t get you excited about the big game, nothing will.
