LeBron James Talks to Dwyane Wade on Airport Tarmac in Miami Before His Decision to Return to Cleveland (Video)
Initially, this post was supposed to be an analysis of the video of Dwyane Wade and LeBron James speaking on a tarmac with no audio, idly wondering what the hell they were discussing.
Here’s the video:
With the just-seconds-ago announcement that LeBron James will be returning to Cleveland as a free agent, we still have no idea what Wade and James were discussing, However, now that LeBron has made his intentions public, we don’t really care. Maybe they were talking about Wade’s consideration of investing in a Vitamix blender, or about how it’s crazy that MTV doesn’t play music videos anymore.
Whatever. LeBron’s heading home, and that’s all that matters.
Okay. That’s not true. In light of this news, TONS of other things matter. Like the fate of Ray Allen and Mike Miller, where Chris Bosh ends up, and whether or not Dwyane Wade suddenly feels like the first person to arrive at a party.
LeBron offered his decision in a first person essay he wrote for Sports Illustrated, saying “”My relationship with Northeast Ohio is bigger than basketball. I didn’t realize that four years ago. I do now.”
Hard not to appreciate that sentiment.
