MLB Network’s Greg Amsinger Predicted Mike Trout Would Drive in Jeter with a Triple, and He Did (Video)
Last night, at the 2014 MLB All-Star Game, Angels superstar Mike Trout batted second in the American League lineup behind Derek Jeter. And in the bottom of the first inning, after Jeter led off the inning with a double, Trout hit a triple off the right field wall, driving in the first run of the game.
If you asked American League manager John Farrell about it, I’m sure he’d tell you—jokingly—that this was exactly how he drew it up. However, the crazy thing is that this exact scenario was predicted before the game by MLB Network host/psychic Greg Amsinger.
You see, Trout stopped by the network’s pre-game “Red Carpet Show” to have a little chat, and while he was there Amsinger “joked” about how he would hit a triple with Jeter on second.
Take a look:
Of course, Amsinger didn’t specify how Jeter got to second base, but it was still a pretty crazy prediction.
So Greg, I’m going to Vegas in a couple of weeks. If you would like to pass along any more predictions, they would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I can’t seem to find my sunglasses. Any thoughts?
