Minor league affiliates of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks engaged in some rowdy fisticuffsmanship last night, causing ten players to be ejected, and dozens of fans to be briefly entertained. The trouble started between the Albuquerque Isotopes and the Reno Aces (gotta love minor league team names) when an Isotopes player was thrown at in the 2nd inning.

The benches cleared, but nothing came of it. The batter went back in the box, striking out a few pitches later. It was at this point that he shoved the catcher for the Aces, and some action did take place after the benches cleared for the second time. Namely, the Isotopes batter was tackled by several Aces, and a whole mess of players fell into the first row of the stands.

You know what? Describing a brawl when there’s a perfectly good video of it seems kind of silly. It’s not like you need to know these players’ names.

Here’s the clip:

For those of you who just want to get through this brawl nonsense to learn who won the minor league baseball game, the Aces took it, 7-3. IT’S A GREAT DAY FOR THE CITIZENS OF RENO!
