Frank Thomas’s Emotional Speech Was the Highlight of Yesterday’s Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (Video)
One year after nobody got the call for the Baseball Hall of Fame, the Class of 2014 was one of the most impressive we’ve seen in a long time. It featured the three greatest managers of the last generation in Tony LaRusa, Joe Torre, and Bobby Cox, as well as three first-ballot inductees in Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, and Frank Thomas. That’s some serious baseball pedigree.
Of course, if you’re a hardcore baseball fan, the Hall of Fame induction ceremony always features some special moments. However, this year the speeches were so good even a casual sports fan could appreciate them.

They could all use a little work on their comedic timing, but for old baseball guys that wasn’t too bad.
