If you haven’t heard of the ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) Ice Bucket Challenge, you’re not alone. But now that the “charitable” activity is going viral, you better bone up. Because you could be called upon to get really wet and cold. Again, for a good cause.
In what I guess is a more altruistic version of bros icing bros, the ALS Ice Bucket challenge involves getting a bucket of ice water dumped on you to raise funds and awareness for ALS. The idea being that footage of the soaking will go viral, and that people will be inundated with links and info, then give some money to the cause. Doesn’t sound that cray.
