There’s a reason Yasiel Puig is the toast of the majors, folks. And it’s not just for his death-defying bat-flips and inspirational defection stories. His catlike reflexes on the field also translate into everyday moments of frustration.

Proving that bats aren’t the only thing he tosses, an angry Puig returned to the dugout last night, tossing his helmet against a wall that he was standing by. Then, suddenly, the helmet bounced back but Puig was able to make the play, catching the helmet before it took out a Dodger teammate or batboy. What a hero.

Here’s the clip, via Twitter:

Of course, when you slam an object against something two feet away from you, it’s likely going to bounce back, so maybe Puig knew EXACTLY what he was doing, and just wanted to be featured in a fun little GIF on MLB.com.

This guy plays all the angles, doesn’t he?
