T.Y. Hilton Lights Up Texans Secondary for 223 Yards, Performs LeBron-Inspired Touchdown Celebration
At just 5’9″ tall, the Indianapolis Colts’ T.Y. Hilton doesn’t have the build of an elite NFL wide receiver. But he’s turning into one anyway. After recording 861 yards his rookie season and 1,083 yards last year, Hilton has 604 already this year and is on pace for 1,600.
The 223 yards he racked up last night against the Houston Texans definitely helped. T.Y. Hilton caught nine passes averaging a whopping 24.8 yards a piece. He only scored one of the Colts’ four touchdowns, but it was a highlight reel 33 yard reception that proved to be the game-winner. And afterward, he marked the occasion with a LeBron James-inspired touchdown celebration.
Here’s the touchdown:
Here’s the celebration:
If the sight of an NFL player doing a LeBron-inspired touchdown celebration seems familiar to you, there’s a good reason for that. NFL players have been aping King James for years, and earlier this season we saw Browns players and Ravens players do it in the same game.
Of course, none of the players in that Browns-Ravens game were as good as T.Y. Hilton was against the Texans last night. That was a next level performance.
