Colin Kaepernick’s 80-Yard Touchdown Pass Sparks 49ers Rally Over Rams (Video)
Last night, the St. Louis Rams jumped out to a 14-0 lead over the San Francisco 49ers, and they were just 27 seconds away from taking a 14-3 lead into halftime. Then Colin Kaepernick threw an 80-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Lloyd, and everything changed.
On the Rams’ previous drive, they only went 29 yards down field but ate five minutes off the clock, and a good punt put the Niners on their own five-yard line with just two minutes to go in the half. Fives plays later, San Francisco were only at their own 20 with a 3rd and six and less than a minute remaining in the first half. Had khaki-lover Jim Harbaugh approached the final play of the half as conservatively as he approached his wardrobe, the Rams would have taken an 11-point lead into the locker room. But instead Kaepernick threw a 35-yard pass deep left to Lloyd, who had already beaten Janoris Jenkins, for a game-changing 80-yard touchdown pass.

That brilliant play made it 14-10 at the half. Then Kaepernick came out and did this just five minutes into the next half to give the Niners the lead for good:
Pretty good comeback, no?
