AT&T Park Parking Rates Were Absolutely Insane for NLCS Game 5 (Pics)
Expensive AT&T Park parking rates shouldn’t surprise anyone. It’s the playoffs, it’s a professional sporting event, and it’s San Francisco, which has a reputation for being one of the most expensive cities in the United States. San Fran isn’t a particular sprawling community, so the AT&T Park parking rates found their ways up to triple digits in some garages.
What’s funny is…I can’t imagine that more people are driving to a playoff game than a regular sold-out game. So, demand stays the same, and supply stays the same. But because people are paying astronomical prices for the tickets themselves, you might as well dovetail in some insane AT&T Park parking rates while they’re feeling spend-y.
So we’ve got the picture above, in which owners of an SUV get hosed. But it’s San Fran. People driving trucks have to expect that sort of thing.
Then you’ve got the more egalitarian, “come as you are” sign that doesn’t discriminate and just charges everyone a Benjamin :
They should have at least offered a partial refund if the Giants didn’t win. This is insane.
