Sometimes, like last year, the World Series is a battle between the two best teams in baseball. And sometimes, like this year, it’s a matchup of two Wild Card teams who barely even qualified for the postseason. Either way, there are always World Series WAGS. And that’s our focus here today.
So how is this year’s class of World Series WAGs? Well, it would have been better had the Detroit Tigers made the Fall Classic, because Justin Verlander has a pretty attractive ladyfriend. But the lineup of wives and girlfriends yielded by the Royals and Giants is still pretty damn solid.
Don’t take my word for it, though. Check ’em out for yourself.
Somebody's always gotta be last. But hey, better to be last on a list of attractive baseball player wives than first on a list of ugly baseball player wives...though we would never do a list like that, because that would be pretty mean.
Aaanyway, since you probably have no idea who Lacey is standing next to if you're not from Kansas City, I'll go ahead and tell you: it's Royals pitcher Greg Holland, one third of what might be the most dominant bullpen trio in baseball history. (Seriously, look them up.) She's his wife.

I assume you pronounce Mrs. Crawford's name "Jay-Lynn," as in Jalen Rose, but how cool would it be if it was pronounced "Ja-Lynn," as in Ja Rule? In any case, Jalynne is an identical twin, she was a gymnast at UCLA, and now she is married to San Francisco native/Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford.
Also, apparently she made her own Giants t-shirt. So I guess she's crafty.
14. Jalynne Crawford (Giants)
Some people probably think Jenny married Royals outfielder Lorenzo Cain because she loved him, while others surely assume she married him because he's a rich successful baseball player. However, the truth is that she married him because he has an awesome name that makes him sound like a soap opera character's evil twin brother.

Britney Helms is the girlfriend of Terrance Gore.
Who is Terrance Gore? Well, he started the year in single-A, then played three games in triple-A before getting called up to the Big Leages in September, where he appeared in just 11 games and got just one at-bat.
So why is he on the Royals World Series roster? Because of his blazing speed. He's basically their designated pinch runner.

Nori Aoki may have made a fool of himself in Game 1, but at least he got to go home to lovely Sashi here. Unless she's still back in Japan for some reason, in which case he just got to go home to an empty apartment and cry himself to sleep.
11. Sashi Ohtake (Royals)
The lovely Shelley, here, is married to Hunter Strickland. Perhaps you know him as "that fireballing reliever the Giants brought up in September who had given up a monster home run in all four of his postseason appearances until last night."
10. Shelly Strickland (Giants)
When Jessica Etably Morse says she is married to a Giant, that is true in two ways. Michael Morse is a member of the San Francisco Giants and, at 6'5" and 245 pounds, he is absolute enormous.
In fact, either Jessica is standing on a box in this photo, or she herself must be about five-foot-ten or eleven.

We can't find too much info about Jake Peavy's wife, Katie. We know they got married in 2000. We know they were high school sweethearts in Alabama who got married at the age of 19. And we know she's hot. But we can't seem to find any photos of her since Peavy left the Padres.
Of course, that's probably just because Jake keeps getting shipped off at the trade deadline. After four seasons in Chicago, he got traded to Boston last year, and then traded to San Francisco this year. Maybe we don't see her around because it's not worth it for her to move their family to whatever city Jake happens in at the moment.

Angel Pagan may not be on the active roster for the Giants, having injured his back in September. But if the Giants win the World Series he gets a ring. So that definitely qualifies his wife, Windy, for this list.
Angel had better watch out, though. Looks like Tony Bennett is moving in.
7. Windy Pagan (Giants)
I wonder if Kirsten here calls her husband Buster or Gerald. Because that's his real name, you know—Gerald Dempey Posey III. Buster is just a nickname.
To be honest, I can see the arguments for both sides. On the one hand, Buster Posey is a great baseball name, and the dude just does not look like a Gerry.
On the other hand, Buster is kind of a weird name for a grown up man and would sound strange in the context of him doing "grown up man things," if you know what I'm sayin'.
6. Kristen Posey (Giants)
Gregor Blanco has done a hell of a job taking over for Angel Pagan in center field for the giants, and he's got a hell of a good-looking wife.
(I'm assuming you figured she is the one in the middle. But just in case you didn't, she's the one in the middle.)
5. Mirna Blanco (Giants)
Speaking of nicknames, I wonder if Pablo Sandoval's girlfriend Dubcy Romero calls him Pablo or Panda? Or maybe she called him KFP for Kung Fu Panda?
Regardless of what she called her boyfriend, Dubcy Romero is very attractive and obviously likes guys with bling.
4. Dubcy Romero (Giants)
For our list of All-Star Game WAGs, I did a little sleuthing and found a few rumors that Giants right fielder Hunter Pence was dating IGN production coordinator Lexi Cozombalidis, but I had very little actual proof beyond the fact that she was following Hunter Pence's sister on Twitter—though that was enough for me to include her on the list.
Well, now that decision has been vindicated. Hunter and Alexis are officially boyfriend and girlfriend. (Just take a look at her Twitter feed.)
3. Alexis Cozombalidis (Giants)
In June, Royals pitcher Brandon Finnegan was pitching for the TCU Horned Frogs in the College World Series. Then he got drafted 17th overall by the Royals, pitched 13 games in the minors, and got called up to the Royals' pen in September.
Now he could become the first person in baseball history to play in the College World Series and the MLB World Series in the same year. And he's brought his college sweetheart Carly—a smoking hot TCU cheerleader—along for the ride.
2. Carly Peters (Royals)
This is Royals first baseman Eric Hosmer's girlfriend. Apparently she still lives in Florida, where she is—hold on to your hats—a bartender.
"Honestly, I don't know what he sees in her," said nobody.
