Josh Childress Delivers Vicious Flying Elbow to Opponent’s Chest During Australian Basketball Game (Video)
Remember Josh Childress? He was the 6th overall pick of the 2004 NBA Draft, and for a few years it looked like he might be a star? Then he fizzled, went to play ball in Greece, came back to the NBA for a few years, and then left again to play ball for the Sydney Kings in Australia’s National Basketball League?
No? Well, Jesse Wagstaff of the Perth Wildcats remembers Josh Childress, because last week Josh Childress gave Wagstaff a vicious flying elbow to the chest and chin.
The impetus for said vicious flying elbow? Wagstaff had set a perfectly legal, not-at-all dirty pick a few seconds prior that knocked Childress to the floor. And, well, Childress was pretty sour about it. So he got up and body checked Wagstaff while he was talking a shot.
Then he got ejected.
Take a look:
If I were Wagstaff I would claim I had whiplash and sue Childress for $5 million. I looked it up, and he made $20 million playing in Greece.
Wait, do they allow frivolous lawsuits in Australia? Or is that just an American thing?
