Martin Jacobson Wins The 2014 World Series of Poker (Video)
The 2014 World Series of Poker was held, as it is every year, and much like in recent years, it was taken down by a rogue player who just sort of fell into the lifestyle. Of course, not many kids are brought up to want to be poker players, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise, but Martin Jacobson, this year’s winner, picked up the game while at chef school.
And now he’s got $10 million in prize money for being the best poker player at the 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event. And although Martin Jacobson fell into the game, he was still the only one of the final nine players to have amassed more than $1 million in career winnings, meaning that the 2014 World Series of Poker was a bit of a free-for-all.
I bet you’d like to see how Martin Jacoboson won it. Here you go:
A landmark day for people who look like baristas. Congratulations to the hipster winner of the 2014 World Series of Poker! May this windfall of cash bring him pointy haircuts, ironic BBQ’s, and all the Pabst that a man of his stature can consume.
I hope this is a trend. Hipsters ruin everything else. Why not poker in Vegas?
