Kyle Lowry Crashes Into Courtside Seats, Spills Rich Dude’s Ice Cream (Videos)
Kyle Lowry crashes into courtside seats at the Air Canada Centre, and the only thing people are worried about is the guy in the fancy suit? It’s enough to make TNT basketball announcer Kevin Harlan wonder what the hell this world is coming to.
What am I talking about? Well, last night the Toronto Raptors hosted the Chicago Bulls in a showdown of the Eastern Conference’s (for now) two best teams. Roughly midway through the third quarter, with Chicago up two, Toronto’s Kyle Lowry, one of the best point guards in the NBA, tried to keep a ball from going out of bounds and wound up crashing into the courtside seats…where he knocked over somebody’s ice cream.
It turned out that Lowry was totally fine, of course. But Kevin Harlan went all class warrior on us. The dude was outraged that everyone down on the floor was more worried about the rich guy in the “$3,000 suit” than…well, the rich guy in the basketball uniform.
Take a look:
Take it easy, Kev-o. Lowry makes $12 million a year playing basketball. So he’s not just in the top 1%. He’s in the top 0.1%. If he broke both his legs in half and never played basketball again, he’d still never have to work another day for the rest of his life.
