Odell Beckham Catch: Holy F#%&ing S#*%! (Videos + Pics)
If New York Giants rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. stays healthy, he will make hundreds of catches in his NFL career. And a lot of them will be fantastic. However, in all likelihood, only one of those catches will ever be known as THE Odell Beckham catch. And that catch happened Sunday night, on national television, against the Dallas Cowboys.
Let me set it up for you. The Giants were up 7-0 when the Cowboys kicked a 38-yard field goal with just under three minutes to play in the first quarter. After the ensuing kickoff, Eli Manning moved the Giants from their own 34-yard line to the Dallas 43 with five plays to end the first quarter. Then, on the first play of the second quarter, Manning threw a 43-yard pass deep right to Beckham. However, Beckham was interfered with by Dallas cornerback Brandon Carr, who tied up Beckham’s left arm and spun him around.
It was after that interference that Beckham made what just might be the greatest catch of all time.
