Marshawn Lynch Interview This Week Was All “Nope” (Video)
Last week, we were talking about the Marshawn Lynch interview that consisted of only “yeah” responses following a victory over the Arizona Cardinals. This week, following a Thanksgiving night win against the San Francisco 49ers, the Seahawks running back changed things up by going with “nope” as his answer to post-game questions from the media.
Of course, even these one-worded answers are a lot more than we’re used to hearing from Lynch in terms of public speaking—he was fined $100,000 for not talking to the media a few weeks ago. And even though it’s obvious to everyone that this is one man who prefers to do his talking on the field during the game, rather than in the locker room after it, the media continues to hound him for commentary while the NFL does their part to make his wallet lighter.
Why can’t they all just come to terms with the fact that some people were meant to talk into a microphone, and others were not. If they’re looking for sound bites and insightful commentary, Richard Sherman is just a few lockers over.
Here’s a look at the latest Marshawn Lynch interview:
After hearing Lynch was only offering “Nope” answers, members of the media didn’t have much more to ask him, before wishing him a Happy Thanksgiving as he left the visiting locker room.
My guess is next week’s answer from Marshawn will be “maybe so.”
