Bothell H.S. (Washington) QB Flips for a TD in Championship Game (Video)
Bothell High School quarterback Ross Bowers capped off an undefeated season with about as much flair as a quarterback can. And this is just in high school. The team was playing for the Washington state 4A championship, already enjoying a lead, but on the verge of going up 24-7 in a game they would ultimately win 24-14.
Ross Bowers did a surprisingly practical front flip into the endzone on his way to victory. He was heading to the endzone with a defender in his way at the goal line, and he took a huge forward leap that led to the Bothell QB getting flipped head-over-heels.
Watch right here:
I don’t want to spoil the fun, but he crossed the plane well before he went full-gyroscope—although he probably didn’t know that, because there’s a lot that HS quarterbacks have left to learn. However, the scouts must think that Ross Bowers will be a pretty good student athlete, because he’s a four-star recruit who’s heading to Cal in the fall.
With a state title.
I would be doing flips, too.
