Russell Okung Shoves a Trainer Tending to His Chest Injury (Video)
I’m not going to presume to know what goes on in the mind of an injured athlete. But as Russell Okung shoves a trainer seemingly out of frustration, it doesn’t look great.
Russell Okung had been taken off the field with a chest injury that led to him coughing up blood. The injury landed him in the hospital, but fortunately, he was cleared and let out a few hours later.
While that’s all well and good, I don’t know why Russell Okung shoves a trainer that’s just trying to help him. Watch the video:
It was a close game, Seattle was losing 10-3 at the half, and this dude was injured. I guess I do understand it, but I just don’t agree with it.
The diagnosis was a chest-wall bruise. I don’t know what that is, but it sounds like a better outcome than “crushed chest wall,” or “severed chest wall.”
Here’s to hoping that Okung recovers and stops shoving trainers that are trying to help him.
