Kevin Durant Sprained Ankle During Loss to Warriors (Video)
The Oklahoma City Thunder lost Thursday’s game to the Golden State Warriors by a score of 114-109, but their biggest loss of the evening may have come in the form of a Kevin Durant sprained ankle.
Durant, who already missed the first month of the 2014-15 NBA season with a stress fracture in his right foot, is reported to have suffered a mild right ankle sprain. The injury occurred during the final seconds of the first half, as KD’s attempt to drive to the hoop came up short when he stepped on Marreese Speights‘ foot and went down in pain. And just to add some salt in the wound, Durant was called for a charge on the play.
