The JJ Watt Bloody Nose is Back and Terrorizing the NFL (Photo)
The most iconic image of the entire 2013 NFL season was not Richard Sherman deflecting Colin Kaepernick‘s pass to Michael Crabtree in the NFC Championship Game, or Peyton Manning looking bummed out on the sidelines of Super Bowl XLVIII. It was the JJ Watt bloody nose (above) from the Texans’ Week 4 battle against the Seahawks. That one image perfectly captured the essence of the Houston Texans All-Pro defensive end—a grizzled warrior, as fearless as he is fearsome, unwilling to let a little blood slow him down.
Hell, the image was so iconic that it inspired Halloween costumes.
Well, guess what? On Sunday we got another JJ Watt bloody nose. This time it came during a game against the Ravens, and once again it failed to slow the beast down at all. Playing against some of the NFL’s best offensive linemen, Watt still recorded eight tackles and one sack—a sack that made him the Texans’ all-time sack leader.
Take a look:
The legend of JJ Watt continues.
