Rolando McClain house fire

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain has been having one heck of a comeback season on the football field, but things have suddenly gone up in flames off of it, literally.

McClain’s $1.5-million home (that’s what he recently listed it for) in Tuscaloosa was engulfed by a fire on Monday night.  The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, but police plan to investigate to see if it was an accident or intentional.  When asked about the fire and its cause, Tuscaloosa County Sheriff’s Lt. Andy Norris said, “Any time you have a vacant house go up, particularly one of that value, you have to consider it suspicious.” Adding to the suspicion is a report that one witness saw a car speeding away from the exclusive neighborhood as the six-bedroom, five-bathroom house burnt down to the ground.

Here are some images of the massive Rolando McClain house fire:

McClain came out of retirement this year after being cut by the Raiders in April 2013 and signing a contract with the Ravens one month later—though he chose to hang up the cleats before playing a single game with them.  The 2010 eighth-overall draft pick was traded by Baltimore this past offseason to the Cowboys, where he has racked up 81 tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble in 13 games thus far.
