Marcus Morris Screaming at Suns Coach Jeff Hornacek? Awkward (Video)
If you happened to tune in to ESPN for the Suns-Timberwolves game last night, you got to witness something you just don’t see everyday: Suns power forward Marcus Marris screaming at Suns head coach Jeff Hornacek. On the sidelines. During the game.
The incident started when Marcus Morris—who is not to be confused with his twin brother and teammate, Markeif Morris—got a technical foul for questioning a call by one of the officials. Livid at either the original call, the technical, or most likely both, Morris returned to the Suns bench. Then, after Jeff Hornacek said something to him—probably something to the effect of “chill the f**k out, man”—Morris took his frustrations out on his coach.
Take a look:
All things considered, the confrontation was relatively mild. Morris didn’t really look like he was angry with Hornacek, and there was never any danger of things turning physical. Still, you’re generally not supposed to scream at your coach at all, let alone during a game being broadcast on ESPN. So after the game, Morris apologized on Twitter…
Gotta be a better professional for my younger teammates , and can’t let my emotions get the best of me.. Love my coach and my team Great win

Hopefully that patched things up.
