Cristiano Ronaldo War Cry Highlights Ballon d’Or Acceptance Speech (Video)

Cristiano Ronaldo war cry

Cristiano Ronaldo finished well ahead of Lionel Messi and Manuel Neuer in voting to earn his second consecutive Ballon d’Or trophy on Monday.

Ronaldo had an impressive 2014 campaign, recording 61 goals in 60 appearances for his club and country.  He wasn’t able to lead Portugal out of the group stage at the World Cup in Brazil, but he more than made up for it by claiming the UEFA Champions League title, the Copa del Rey, the European Super Cup, and the Club World Cup with Real Madrid.

That amazing goal total along with all of those club titles helped Ronaldo earn his third career Ballon d’Or trophy.  So you’d think the guy would know how to put together an acceptance speech that doesn’t end in the most awkward way possible, right?

Check out this ridiculously unnecessary Cristiano Ronaldo war cry that capped off his acceptance speech:

Is he trying to make himself seem like a douchebag?  Or did he really think that was cool?

In case you wanted to see it again, you can watch the Cristiano Ronaldo war cry, as well as the rest of his Ballon d’Or acceptance speech, in the video below:
