Dez Bryant Said Lambeau Was “Too Damn Hot” for Sleeves Yesterday (Pics)
There are few places in the NFL more inhospitable to visitors than Lambeau Field in January. While Packers players are presumably accustomed to and even hardened by the frigid temperatures, opponents from warmer climates—like, say, Texas—are supposed to struggle out on the frozen tundra.
Don’t expect Dez Bryant to buy that conventional narrative, though. Despite a game time temperature of just 21º for yesterday’s Packers-Cowboys game, Bryant wasn’t about to limit the range of motion in his arms by wearing sleeves. Even during pre-game warmups, when he wore a face and neck warmer, Bryant was out there in a sleeveless shirt:

And when asked about his wardrobe choice by Ian Rappaport, this is what he had to say:

Of course, while you have to admire Bryant’s attempt to play off the Lambeau cold, there’s still this tiny little splinter of doubt in my mind. If he had worn sleeve and kept his arm muscles warmer, maybe, just maybe…
Yeah, you know what I’m talking about.
