Monster Nikola Vucevic Dunk Breaks Pau Gasol in Half (Video)
Orlando Magic center Nikola Vucevic is having a good season. The guy doesn’t have many blocks for someone who’s seven-feet tall and plays right in front of the rim all the time, but he is fourth among centers in scoring with 18.8 points per game, and he’s seventh overall in rebounds with 11.1 per game.
Last night against the Bulls, however, Vucevic was better than good. He was dominant. In addition to his usual 11 rebounds, the 24-year-old former USC standout also recorded four assists and dropped 33 points. And two of those points came on a ridiculous monster jam that broke Pau Gasol in half and put the two Gasol pieces on a glossy poster.
Seriously, take a look at this Nikola Vucevic dunk:
You know it’s bad when the announcers for the other team go “oooooooh.”
The funny thing is, Gasol probably had an all-around better game. He had 28 points, 14 rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocks. But he’s the one who got destroyed, and his team lost by seven. So Vucevic gets the glory.
