Tiger Woods Explains What Happened to His Tooth, and Why He Was Wearing a Skeleton Mask (Video)
Remember when Tiger Woods randomly showed up at that World Cup skiing event last week wearing a skeleton face mask and missing one of his front teeth? Remember how everyone was like, um, WTF? Well, yesterday Tiger talked to the media at TPC Scottsdale ahead of the Waste Management Phoenix Open and he explained everything. Now it all makes total sense.
You see, Tiger went to Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, to surprise his girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn, who was trying to set a new all-time record by winning her 63rd World Cup event. (She succeeded, by the way.) While there, he didn’t want to steal the spotlight from his boo on her big day, so he used a ski mask to go incognito.
But why a skeleton ski mask? Ghost Recon. Duh.
Anyway, Tiger is standing there waiting for the press to finish taking all their photos. All of a sudden a camera dude turns around and whacks him in the kisser, knocking out one tooth and cracking another.
You should really watch the video. Tiger tells the story much better:
It all makes sense now, doesn’t it?
Of course, race officials still refute the account because there were no “incidents” reported involving Tiger Woods. Apparently they think Tiger Woods got into a back alley brawl with a hooker and her pimp. And let’s face it, given Tiger’s history, that’s not 100% out of the question.
