Jimmy Graham Traded to Seahawks For Max Unger, 1st Rounder
Wow! The first day of NFL free agency has been nothing short of madness.
We knew there would be action once the market officially opened today, but Jimmy Graham traded to the Seahawks? Who would have expected something like that?
Much to everyone’s surprise, it happened. According to Jay Glazer, the Seattle Seahawks have given up center Max Unger and their first-round pick in this year’s draft (31st overall), in exchange for one of the NFL’s premier pass catchers*. The Seahawks also receive the Saints’ fourth-round draft pick in the deal.
This trade was just one of many big moves on a day that saw Mike Iupati sign with the Cardinals, Haloti Ngata get traded to the Lions, Frank Gore ditch Philly for Indy, and the Eagles and Rams swap quarterbacks Nick Foles and Sam Bradford. And it’s still not even 5pm ET!
DeMarco Murray and Darrelle Revis are still available. And Adrian Peterson may be looking for a way out of Minnesota. I sense there’s more action to come. Stay tuned.
*Because we’re not really sure if he’s a tight end or a wide receiver.
