‘Game of Thrones’ The Mountain Sets Yet Another Strength Record (Video)
Answer truthfully: How high up in the air do you think you could throw a 56-pound kettle bell? It’s about 10 pounds heavier than a big plate at the gym.
If you said “about 20 feet” you are either a) grossly unaware of your own strength, b) a liar, or c) Game of Thrones star Hafthor Bjornsson. If the answer is in fact “c,” let me just say thanks for reading, Hafthor, and congratulations on setting your latest world record.
Clad in a kilt, The Mountain tossed the weight up 19 feet 3 inches in front of a big crowd. That sounds pretty high. I’m thinking about it, and I would like to think I could get 10 feet using leverage and whatnot, but I’m guessing that would probably just end up annihilating my back. But maybe, JUST MAYBE, this is one of those things where it gets exponentially harder the higher you go, and many people can do 10 feet, but 20 is a nearly impossible.
Anyway, here’s the clip:
Yup. The Mountain is pretty strong, all right.
